How far out do you usually book?
To ensure you get one of your preferred dates/times, make sure you contact me at least 4 weeks beforehand. Feel free to text/call me or contact me on any of my social media platforms (Instagram & Facebook).
What are your payment options?
Cash is always preferred but I’m able to accept cash or credit/debit cards. Payment is due at your appointment.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
Before your appointment make sure that you have already showered because you cannot get your eyelash extensions wet for 24 hours after application/refill including sweat and steam. Also, be sure that you arrive to your appointment with no eye makeup on.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions will last as long as you want them to as long as you book refill appointments every 2-3 weeks. Eyelash extensions will most likely last between 6-8 weeks without refills.
How do I choose the look I want?
Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths, curls, and thicknesses. I will normally consult with you first to see what type of style you are interested in. I will also analyze your lashes to determine what your lashes will be able to hold for length and weight. Everyone's lashes are different and will vary in strength and length.
How are classic eyelash extensions applied?
When getting a classic set of eyelash extensions, a single synthetic hair is adhered to each of your natural lashes one at a time.
Can I wear makeup while having eyelash extensions?
Do not wear mascara & do not wear eyeliner unless it is in a powder form or a non-waterproof liquid form. (i.e. black eyeshadow). If you choose to wear eyeshadow throughout the day just make sure to gently remove all the makeup from your lashes at the end of the day using an eyelash extension cleanser.
How long does application of eyelash extensions take?
Application for a full set of classic eyelash extensions can take anywhere from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours depending on the amount of natural lashes the client has. Eyelash refills should take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Clients should be returning for their refill with at least 40% of their extensions still on.
How do I take care of my eyelash extensions?
You shouldn't get your extensions wet for 24 hours after application including sweat and steam as it will interfere with the curing of the adhesive so make sure you shower before your appointment. After the 24 hours after application you'll want to gently clean them once a day with EYELASH EXTENSION CLEANSER. Using products not made for extensions on your lashes and that contain oils will break down the adhesive and there is a good chance your extensions will fall off prematurely. Avoid eyelash curlers, gel/crème/pencil eyeliners, and mascaras and make sure you don't pull or rub on your lashes. Also, be sure to book a refill appointment after your application to ensure you'll get your preferred availability. It is my job to put the extensions on you, it is your job to keep them on and take care of them. I always encourage clients to try as hard as they can to not reschedule their refill appointment to avoid extra lash loss. If you have to reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. No shows will not be tolerated.
Why do I need refills?
Naturally our eyelashes shed and new ones will grow in. When you get eyelash extensions, your natural eyelashes will continue their natural growth cycle. Every time you shed a natural lash, the extension will shed with it. Refill appointments allow me to take off the out-grown extensions and replace them and put new extensions on your new lashes that have grown in where the old lashes have shed.
